The announcement that Disney and Pixar are getting into the kart racer genre of video games has some hoping that at the very least, there could be themed karts in Disney Speedstom that would go along with the look and feel of characters that are driving them and could even have special abilities and executables that are reminiscent of their drivers. Different classes will have special abilities that can come in handy when trying to win a race.

In addition to the Brawlers, the Disney and Pixar characters can also be Tricksters, Speedsters, and Defenders in what also appears to be a kind of homage to the kind of drivers that people can pick in racers like Mario Kart. The first trailer revealed that people could play as Mickey Mouse, Captain Jack Sparrow, Mulan, Sully from Monsters Inc., Goofy, Donald Duck, and others, but earlier this month Baloo the Bear from The Jungle Book was also announced as a member of the Brawler class of racers.
That includes some additional info about some of the racers that will be usable when the game does finally arrive. The platform information is the latest bit of news to be added to what has been trickling out since the official announcement.

After another left turn there's the finish line. After that there's a big turn with a smaller tambourine trampoline which can be used to cut the turn. Any players that race beneath these notes will be flattened and spun around. After a minute and 52 seconds have passed in the Mario Kart 7 version, they start to jump right after they land. Then there is a split road containing Bouncing Notes jumping from side to side, and three metronome beats are played just before they hit the ground. In this section of the track, the walls are adorned with musical staffs. After marimba and vibraphone turns, the tambourine appears, acting like a bouncy mushroom.
Otherwise, the plants will bite, causing the victim's kart to tumble end over end. These lights around the Piranha Plants are to be avoided by racers.
Following this is a piano turn, with two Big Piranha Plants planted near the end and surrounded by circles of light, near which is a small ramp sided with a Note Block. The course starts off with a road containing trumpets and a large violin.
